Health law expert joins DLA Phillips Fox
The corporate group at DLA Phillips Fox continues to expand its expertise with the appointment of new partner Alison Choy Flannigan.
Alison, who will be based in the Sydney office, is a corporate and commercial lawyer practicing in the Australian health law sector. In 2008 Alison was named a pre-eminent health care lawyer in the inaugural edition of Best Lawyers International: Australia and she has previously been named in Legal Profiles as a rising star in health care law.
She has more than 15 years experience in private practice acting for the public and private sector health industry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and aged care / retirement-living clients.
Alison is the third new partner to join the DLA Phillips Fox corporate group in Sydney in the past six months.

Alison was previously a partner at Ebsworth & Ebsworth. Prior to that she held the position of General Counsel - Corporate and Commercial with Ramsay Health Care Limited, Australia's largest private hospital operator.
Alison is a member of the Australian Private Hospitals Association and the Australian Healthcare Association.
