New construction partner brings team across to DLA Phillips Fox
DLA Phillips Fox is pleased to welcome Scott Alden and his team of lawyers to the Property, Infrastructure and Development team.
Scott's vast experience and recognised expertise in the infrastructure and major projects arena make him a valuable addition to the legal and strategic offering of the firm and to the DLA Piper global network of specialists.
Formerly a Partner at TressCox, Scott brings many years of experience to DLA Phillips Fox. His expertise encompasses government infrastructure projects, general contractual and legislative advice and the tendering process, NSW government capital and services procurement and infrastructure contracts and performance based contracting.
Scott is also highly regarded for advice and expertise in the areas of public transport and water infrastructure. He has been involved in a large number of significant state government infrastructure projects across the transport, ports, water and civil infrastructure sectors.
Scott brings with him from Tresscox, Senior Associate Alyson Eather and solicitor Lee Moore.
"It's an exciting time to be joining DLA Phillips Fox due to its alliance with DLA Piper which brings with it many opportunities, both in terms of projects as well as clients," Scott said.
"I'm looking forward to joining a larger team working with similar skill sets which should enable us to work more effectively on larger projects across Australia as well as internationally."
Scott is the chair of the Business Law Committee of the Law Society of NSW as well as being a Councillor, and is also the Immediate Past President of NSW Young Lawyers. He will be based in DLA Phillips Fox's Sydney office.
