DLA Phillips Fox a finalist for insurance award

DLA Phillips Fox has today been named a finalist for the annual Australia and New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.

The Awards, now in their fifth year, celebrate excellence and achievement across the insurance industry and are presented by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and founding partners Asia Insurance Review. 

DLA Phillips Fox is a finalist in the Law Firm / Practitioner of the Year category.

Finalists in this category will be judged on the following criteria: in-depth knowledge and understanding of the insurance market through research; responsiveness to insurer needs; innovation; industry leadership; thorough provision of information; service flexibility and efficiency and professional standards.

Joan Fitzpatrick, Institute CEO and Chair of the Judging Panel said judging the finalists was a difficult task and acknowledging finalists was an important step in recognising an impressive field.

“I would like to acknowledge the finalists in each category and to pay tribute to the achievements of these high performing organisations within our industry. Being announced as a finalist is an achievement in itself and something to be very proud of,” she said.

The winners will be announced at an industry gala dinner being held in the Parkside Ballroom, at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday 7 August 2008.
