Review of the overseas investment regime in New Zealand
In March 2009 the Government announced it would review the Overseas Investment Act 2005 and Overseas Investment Regulations 2005 with the aim of simplifying overseas investment rules in New Zealand to promote and encourage the flow of investment into the country.
This Update provides an overview of the review and considerations for those making submissions.
