DLA Phillips Fox a finalist for insurance industry award

Law firm DLA Phillips Fox has been named a finalist in the Australia and New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards for 2009.

The firm has been nominated in the category of 'Law Firm/Practitioner of the Year'.

The Awards, now in their sixth year, celebrate excellence and achievement in the insurance industry and are presented by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and Asia Insurance Review. 

Joan Fitzpatrick, Institute CEO and Chair of the Judging Panel said a record number of entries were received this year.

'Being judged  a finalist in your category is an outstanding achievement in itself and something to be very proud of. The competition in each category was very strong and standards were high,' Ms Fitzpatrick said.

DLA Phillips Fox is the only law firm to have been a finalist each year since The Awards’ inception, and won the award in 2004 and 2005.
