Lessons from Swine Flu - Survey Results

In September 2009, DLA Phillips Fox and its alliance partner, DLA Piper, undertook a survey to look at how businesses have reacted to the threat of swine flu in different regions around the world including Australia and New Zealand, Asia and the United Kingdom.

Our survey results show that employers have been thinking creatively and have considered, or are considering, a wide range of proposals in response to the pandemic. These steps range from relatively small actions such as issuing advice and guidance to employees, to more extreme measures, including restricting business travel and quarantining employees.
