David East
Chairman & Partner - Banking & Finance

David is Chairman of the Partnership Board and a partner in the Banking & Finance practice group in the Sydney office.

David joined the partnership in 2002 having previously worked with Clifford Chance in London and has been a partner both in another major Australian law firm and in a global professional services firm. David is a leading finance and projects lawyer whose areas of expertise include infrastructure and PPP projects, construction and project finance, structured and tax effective finance, acquisition finance and debt capital markets. Recent infrastructure projects include desalination, water treatment, energy, health and hospitals and transport. David was elected to the Board in July 2008.
