Community partnerships

DLA Phillips Fox supports community organisations through a range of Community Care initiatives including volunteering, fundraising, administrative support and Workplace Giving.

We are proud supporters on a firm-wide basis of the following organisations:

Cancer Council Australia

The Cancer Council Australia aims to lead the development and promotion of national cancer control policy in Australia, in order to prevent cancer and reduce the illness, disability and death caused by cancer. The firm participates in the national annual Daffodil Day fundraiser.

Cancer Society of New Zealand

The Cancer Society of New Zealand is the leading organisation dedicated to reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring the best cancer care for everyone in New Zealand. We raise significant funds each year through the annual Daffodil Day appeal.

CARE Australia

CARE Australia is the largest non-political, non-religious overseas aid organisation in Australia, providing humanitarian assistance to individuals and families in the poorest communities in the world. They design and implement programs and have a high degree of accountability and transparency. Our Australian offices provide support through the annual World Hunger Campaign raising funds to support the Highland Community Program in Cambodia.

Oxfam New Zealand

Oxfam supports communities around the world to overcome poverty and injustice, linking local level action with international campaigns to make trade fair, control arms and make poverty history. Our New Zealand offices support Oxfam through participation in the annual fundraiser Oxfam Trailwalker, volunteering opportunities and provision of pro bono support.

The Smith Family Australia

The Smith Family's vision is to create a more caring and cohesive Australian community. A number of our Australian offices support the Smith Family at Christmas time, taking part in the annual Toy and Book Christmas appeal.

Our offices proudly partner with the following organisations to effect change in their local communities:
