Damien has acted as project counsel for many of Australia's largest capital projects in the resources, oil and gas and power sectors. This work requires the timely and cost effective delivery high quality legal services in a dynamic project environment.
Damien also advises the resources sector on the legal, policy and commercial implications of native title. His experience includes due diligence investigations, providing native title clearance opinions, advising on Aboriginal cultural heritage issues and negotiating and documenting agreements relating to native title and Aboriginal cultural heritage with traditional owners.
