Fiona manages our national trade mark centre in Adelaide and has expertise and experience in:
- Registrability and infringement searches.
- Filing and prosecuting Australian, foreign and international registrations (under Madrid Protocol).
- Trade mark rejection (responding to Examiners' Reports), opposition, non-use and revocation actions.
- Trade mark management, watching, trade mark licensing and commercialisation.
Fiona advises on all aspects of intellectual property, including IP registers and IP audits, and drafting and negotiating of deeds of assignment and licence, joint venture, manufacturing and collaborative research agreements.
Fiona's franchising experience includes providing strategic advice to established operations and advising local and international businesses on the establishment of regional, national and international franchise systems. She has advised systems both coming into Australia and those expanding overseas. She is currently a committee member of the Franchise Council of Australia, South Australian Chapter.
Fiona has advised the Department of Defence in the areas of:

Fiona also has years of experience providing broad-ranging commercial advice to clients across different industries. She routinely advises on, reviews and drafts manufacturing, distribution and supply and purchasing agreements. This experience includes advising on marketing materials and privacy issues.
