Paul is an experienced adviser to Australian Government clients in relation to administration and commercial issues.
Paul regularly advises on statutory interpretation and probity issues, and has recently been engaged as probity adviser on some of the Government's most sensitive procurements. Much of Paul's advice work deals with complex legislative schemes and highly technical factual circumstances.
He has conducted numerous governance reviews for clients and provided reports on statutory compliance and legislative due diligence matters. He also has experience with coronial representation work, commercial contracting and complex commercial litigation.
Prior to joining DLA Phillips Fox, Paul worked with the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). His in-house experience has led to multiple secondment requests, where he has been praised for his legal and risk management capabilities and commitment to client care.
