Sean has specific expertise in all aspects of employment law advice, including preparation of contracts, advice on restructurings, performance reviews, terminations of employment and all litigation arising out of the employment relationship.
Sean has acted for clients in personal grievance and employment contract disputes brought in the Employment Tribunal and now the Employment Authority. He also represents clients in the Employment Court, Court of Appeal and in arbitrations.
Sean has extensive experience advising on the legal consequences of change management including restructuring and redundancy.
Sean is a litigator with extensive experience in a range of commercial dispute engagements, with a particular emphasis on property disputes.
Sean is a past member of the Wellington District Law Society (Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee), LEADR, and is a qualified LEADR Mediator. He is also a past convenor of the Civil Legal Aid Committee in Wellington.
