John is a partner in our projects and infrastructure group.
Recognised as one of Australasia's leading practitioners of project and strategic alliance contracting, John has extensive experience in project structuring solutions for infrastructure, engineering and resources projects. He advises clients on project delivery strategies, project documentation, dispute resolution and project development issues.
John advises public and private sector clients in Australasia, the UK, Middle East, Africa and the USA in industries as diverse as mining, oil and gas, rail, road, water (desalination, wastewater and recycling), IT and telecommunications, nuclear & renewable energy, defence, shipping and process engineering.
John has formal qualifications in architecture and building and a Masters Degree in Project Management (UNSW). Prior to practising law, John worked in a variety of on-site hands-on project and contract management roles in the construction industry.
In 2010, John was named a 'leading individual' in construction and infrastructure law by Asia Pacific Legal 500 and was also recognised by Chambers Global as a leading construction lawyer.
