Samantha focuses on financial services regulation.
Samantha advises providers on regulation and distribution of their products, general insurance and other risk products and non-cash payment facilities (smart cards and e-money). Her work includes product design, covering both contractual and regulatory design issues, and product distribution processes and structures.
Samantha also advises on commercial arrangements, including claim administration, services and joint venture arrangements and sales and acquisitions of financial services businesses. She has also been involved in the reorganisation of general insurance portfolios and the authorisation of general insurers in Australia.
Samantha understands the industries and regulatory environments in which her clients operate. She offers those businesses practical experience through her 'hands on' work, in-house or in project or implementation roles.
