David is a partner in the Financial Services & Revenue practice group in the Sydney office and joined the partnership in 2002.
David has more than 20 years experience as a finance and projects lawyer.
Since the early 1990s, David has been acting for financiers, sponsors and government parties in a wide range of infrastructure projects across a range of areas. These include desalination, water treatment, energy, hospitals and transport (air, port and rail). Early in his career, David was at Clifford Chance in London where he worked primarily on syndicated lending and cross-border aircraft financing transactions. Prior to joining the firm, David was a partner at Blake Dawson for 6 years, and a partner at Andersen Legal for 5 years up to 2002.
David was elected to the Board in July 2008.
