David is a partner in the Financial Services & Revenue practice group in the Sydney office and is Chairman of the Partnership Board.
David joined the DLA Phillips Fox partnership in 2002, and was elected to the Board in July 2008.
David is a leading finance and projects lawyer whose areas of expertise include infrastructure and PPP projects, construction and project finance, structured and tax effective finance, acquisition finance and debt capital markets. His clients include financiers, sponsors and government parties. Recent infrastructure projects have been in the desalination, water treatment, energy, health and transport sectors.
Early in his career, David was at Clifford Chance in London where he worked primarily on syndicated lending and cross-border aircraft financing transactions. Prior to joining the firm, David was a partner at Blake Dawson for 6 years, and a partner at Andersen Legal for 5 years up to 2002.
