David has expertise in corporate and commercial transactions, regulatory and dispute resolution.
David provides advice in relation to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, insurance and reinsurance matters. He recently acted on Symantec's acquisition of the PC Tools group.
He has also acted in relation to claims against company directors, officers and 'financial lines' professionals (including financial planners, tax advisors, auditors and accountants) and has acted for global clients in litigation carried out in the United States.
Notably, David advised and acted in matters arising out of the corporate collapses of Ansett, Pan Pharmaceuticals and ION.
David also has experience advising clients on matters concerning off-shore investment schemes, ATO audits, reinsurance recoveries, private international law issues and claims against trustees of superannuation funds.
