Lindsay leads our Insurance team in Sydney.
Lindsay's practice concentrates on professional indemnity, policy drafting and interpretation, alternative dispute resolution and risk management.
Lindsay undertakes professional indemnity defence for a number of professions, with particular expertise in valuers' and real estate agents' liability, as well as construction professionals liability. He is co-author of Valuers' Liability 2nd Edition and also co-author of the chapter "Valuers' Liability" in the Laws of Australia (Law Book Company). He co-authored the Australian Property Institute's Compulsory Risk Management Module which he developed for delivery to all certified practising valuers throughout Australia.
Lindsay practised as a property valuer, project manager and property manager before joining us in 1979 and becoming a partner in 1988. He is a Life Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, having been a member of that Institute for 36 years.
In 2010, Lindsay was named a 'Leading Individual' in insurance law by Asia Pacific Legal 500.
