Richard manages a large insurance litigation practice consisting primarily of insurance claims and advice work arising out of industrial and workplace accidents, motor vehicle accidents, public liability and medical negligence claims in the ACT and NSW Courts and Tribunals.
Richard also acts for Government agencies (Commonwealth, State and Territory) in statutory claims and in claims arising out of the alleged negligence on the part of their servants and/or agents. He has experience with professional indemnity litigation, product liability litigation and has a keen interest in risk management and alternative dispute resolution.
Richard has been appointed by the Attorney-General (pursuant to section 63 of the Judiciary Act 1903 (Cth)) to receive service of Court documents on behalf of the Commonwealth of Australia.
