Prior to joining us in 2002, Crossley worked for 18 years as head in-house lawyer and company secretary for one of New Zealand's leading insurance companies. As a result he has a deep understanding of the general and life insurance businesses.
Crossley acts for several of the insurance industry bodies in New Zealand and also acts for many underwriters and intermediaries. Crossley has advised and assisted several new entrants into the New Zealand marketplace. He has also successfully completed several schemes of arrangement that transfer portfolios of insurance.
Crossley is regularly invited to speak at insurance industry seminars.
