Bryan acts for and advises a range of government clients in the areas of:

- Occupational health and safety.
Bryan has regular conduct of litigation in the range of Commonwealth Courts including the High Court and Full Federal Court. He regularly appears in the Federal Court, Federal Magistrates Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal as a solicitor advocate.
Bryan has conducted high profile litigation for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship involving claims for damages arising from immigration detention, War Crimes and visa cancellations on character grounds. He has also conducted tortious and contractual litigation for a range of clients including the Department of Defence, the Australian Federal Police and Comcover.
Bryan regularly advises government agencies and authorities about their legislative powers and obigations. He recently advised City West Water about prosecutions under the Stage 3A water restrictions. Bryan recently presented courses to clients on advocacy, Federal Court procedure and administrative law issues.
Bryan advises and acts for clients in occupational health and safety matters. He currently acts for the Department of Defence in a prosecution involving Australian Army Cadets Corp.
